Andrew Reid introduced Brazilian Critical Minerals’ flagship EMA Rare Earths Project in Northern Brazil, which uses in-situ recovery (ISR) – a low-cost, environmentally friendly extraction method.

Low-Cost, High-Return: The February scoping study showed sector-leading capex (US$55M) and opex, with strong financials and a market cap of just AU$10M.

Efficient ISR Method: A simple, proven technique using magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) to extract rare earths from shallow clay layers without mining or land clearing.

Favourable Geology: High-permeability, quartz-rich clays allow for strong recoveries (70%+), with mineralisation only 15–20m deep.

Simple Processing: No crushing or grinding—just chemical pH adjustments, precipitation, and filtration to produce high-purity rare earth carbonate.

~8,700 tonnes of product annually, including 1,800 tonnes of high-value magnet rare earths.

~90% of revenue from magnets (NdPr, Dy, Tb).

NPV: US$500M at $74/kg NdPr; US$350M at current prices.

Next Steps: Field trials underway, with a bankable feasibility study planned by end of 2025 and potential development by late 2026.
